Follow The Climbs - Ontario: Ishpatina Ridge

The Summits of Canada Expedition sets its sights on Ontario's high-point: Ishpatina Ridge. Scheduled for late September, 2006, this climb will involve a lengthy canoe and portage route. Click here for details on this Canadian high-point.

Sept. 22 - The team is now in Ontario; click on the Journal below to view updates of their progress and the events taking place while they are on this leg of the Expedition.

Sept. 15 - The team is currently preparing for the climb of Ontario's Ishpatina Ridge. Travel arrangements, meal planning, gathering of all necessary gear and communications equipment, etc. is well underway and nearing completion. And final dates have been set to hold the Team's first Live Virtual Forum to broadcast the event, "Live From the Top of Ontario", to the many schools from across the country and around the world that have registered to take part and share the experience with the team, as well as with the Minister of Natural Resources & Aboriginal Affairs for Ontario, the Honourable David Ramsay. Stay tuned.
